![]() Google Earth will notify you that it does not have an Internet connection and needs one to load certain features, but you should be able to pan through the tiles you just viewed and access basic information like roads and terrain features on those tiles. ![]() Close Google Earth, disconnect from the Wi-Fi network and reopen Google Earth. Verify that the desired tiles have been stored successfully. When the indicator is full, the image has loaded completely and a copy of the files has been stored in your iPod's cache. Watch the streaming indicator that appears below and slightly to the right of the map images. Move your screen over to the tiles you wish to see offline and allow them to load fully. With Google Earth for Chrome, fly anywhere in seconds and explore hundreds of 3D cities right in your browser. Touch the circular "i" icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen to open the options window and touch "Clear Cache."
